A UN report details on Israeli forces sexually assaulting Palestinian detainees in prisons and detention centers, documenting dozens of cases in recent years.

According to UN Secretary-General António Guterres’s report on war-related sexual violence, 31 victims from Gaza Strip and the West Bank were verified, including men, women, and children, with cases spanning 2023 to 2025.

The report describes abuses such as rape, attempted rape, physical violence, forced nudity, invasive searches, and threats of sexual assault, with nine victims reportedly subjected to severe sexual violence.
