Is ChatGPT-5 only this annoying on a free plan?
It kept me confirming the plan I had already confirmed a couple of times, only to have been asked again to confirm.
I hit the free plan limit twice today because ChatGPT seems to be annoying on purpose.

I wonder how this annoying behavior should convince me to pay for ChatGPT again?

Compile time dependency injection is both hilariously hacky, and incredibly useful, and #golang makes it so easy with build tags.

In local dev mode, we build with a `local` tag, which links a NoopAuth, a NoopAuditLogger, Noop{X,Y,Z} that doesn’t reach out to any services, and just issues tons of WARNING logs about what should have been done, returning reasonable responses when possible (e.g. yes, you’re authenticated, as [email protected]). (We have an alert in production that looks for these to ensure we don’t actually let it slip.)

This has been incredibly useful as it allows you to do local “end”-to-end like testing without the hassle of 3rd party auth to get a bearer token, etc, etc, etc.

Or, you know, we could not live in a world that insists that everything be a microservice and just go back in time 15 years.
