That’s us

You go to your bedroom and find an entirely round owl sitting in your bed. It looks cosy, so you decide to do the same thing. As you get under the duvet a cup of tea appears on the bedside table. The owl hoots softly.

@TheWeeOwl Absolutely beautiful!
This beauty is one of my favourite Grandfather oaks, and perfect for #ThickTrunkTuesday — he can be found at Folly Farm Centre, near Stowey in Somerset if you want to visit. I took this just after sunrise on a frosty January morning in 2020, before the world changed.

Momentum matters more than perfection.
@curiousordinary @folklore Thank you for this!
In #JapaneseFolklore 'The Boy Who Drew Cats' is a tale about a boy who was compelled to draw #cats everywhere. He initially got into trouble but his hobby paid off because one day the cats he drew came to life and saved him from a giant rat goblin. This story speaks of the compulsive nature of creating, the benefits of practicing & perfecting your craft, and ultimately letting your art save you. @SarahTollok Yes!! I really struggle with it. Would legit end up deep cleaning a trash can over sitting for 10 minutes and enjoying the peace of being creative.
@tuckerteague That’s really lovely!
