@azonenberg Broken for me as well.

Also, shipping delays are now up to 4 business days? What's going on up in Thief River Falls...

@stefthepef My '07 Speed3 was a pretty fantastic car. Not as fantastic as the Miata was, but it held a lot more stuff...
@cetan I added some heat strips to the handlebars of my ebike for winter (otherwise my hands get too cold to ride at all) and at the moment they're just putting out a constant level of heat from a fixed power supply; this board will take readings from temperature sensors and will be able to vary the power going to each heating element to keep them at a set temperature instead, and it'll also be able to shut them off if it detects that my hands aren't on the handlebars for long enough.
Hanging out in that liminal space between "as far as I know this PCB layout is finished" and "if I stare at it longer I might discover something that's wrong that I can correct before I pay money to have this committed to a physical form".
@cetan I guess the weather gods follow you on here!

"[W]e live in a world […] that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power. These are the iron laws of the world."

As a philosophical exercise intended to demonstrate one flaw in this particular moral cosmology, I volunteer to beat the shit out of Stephen Miller.

@violenceworks Hey man, sounds like you got swept up in the same layoff I did. 😞 Thinking back to that time we sat in a cold warehouse in South SF while you worked on a prototype and we were playing with an arc generator it feels like a completely different world that didn't suck...

Are you still hunting or have you found something? I've been hunting for nearly a year and it's a wasteland here in Atlanta for greentech work...

@azonenberg Same sort of situation for us, there's a giant 150-year-old Oak on the property to our South that cuts into morning production on the south face.

I'd cross my fingers that it won't be much longer for the world but honestly even though it'll goose our production a bit I'll still be pretty sad when it finally goes!

@azonenberg Wow, that's a pretty big system! And with that much constant load I bet you're right that you won't end up exporting much.

It feels less than optimal to point panels in directions other than due-south but we have 2/5ths of our panels facing north and they definitely still produce enough to justify their cost, so I think you won't regret covering all the faces.

Congrats on taking the dive!
