In spite of my best efforts, I’m in a very dark place today. What is the point of being an informed citizen in a nation full of racist, misogynistic ignoramuses? Scanned the headlines about Trump’s latest appointments and I had to stop reading, because it was nauseating.
I’ve finally found how I’m going to get through this.
I’m determined to find as much joy and peace as I can. Even in a Fascist regime and even if these are my last days on Earth.
I am in no way diminishing the disastrous global effects of the US election. I’m just saying this is how I’m determined to be from now on if at all possible.
