Back home now after running the #TokyoMarathon this past Sunday.
I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed #Tokyo! This was my first time there (or anywhere in Asia. People were accommodating and wonderful. I love how clean everything is! Good metro system. Good food. Charmingly quirky!
#Japan is marvellous. I will be back!
Ran the #TokyoMarathon this morning. This was my 72nd #marathon and my 6th World Marathon Major.
What a fantastic race! #Tokyo is beautiful. Incredibly well organized and a great route. Lots of supporters cheering along the race route. I love it here. A bonus that we had beautiful weather! (Much better than the snow and ice at home, ha ha!)
I managed to finish about 11 mins faster than my Boston Qualifying time. Couldn't be happier!
Arrived in #Tokyo to run the #Marathon on Sunday. Tokyo is amazing. And weird. Love it here.
This will be my 6th of the #WorldMarathonMajors and my 72nd full marathon overall. Weather forecast is looking great!

Off shortly to run the #Hypothermic Half-Marathon. It's warmer than expected, way warmer than last year, but still chilly at -18°C. Best way to embrace the weather!! But I'll really look forward to a hot coffee after!
After some speed repeats today, I finished the year having completed 2724.6 km of #running. Slightly more than 2024 and slightly less than 2023.
That includes 6 full #marathon races plus the Near Death Marathon (part of the #CanadianDeathRace).
My next big events are Hypothermic Half Marathon in Jan and Tokyo Marathon in Mar (my 6th world major).
2025 hasn't been a good year politically, but running has kept me healthy and sane!

Relativistically speaking, meetings warp productivity just as mass warps time and space.
If the participants are dense enough, a meeting can collapse into a singularity of infinite uselessness and infinite time taken.
