I mostly practice #Zen. But a favorite #meditation instruction is from the Christian author of *The Cloud of Unknowing.* He says to come to rest in a naked, blind feeling of our being and to let go of the conceit that it's ours.

That can sound mystically heroic — lIke some dark journey's spiritual quest for a realization.

But.

I find such meditation is really just about an honest, selfless, immediate, simple, open-eyed, and sober engagement with the mechanics of present moment experiencing.
