Funny how you THINK I'm not fighting fascism.

Funny how that is.

Because if you look at my posts & reposts, you would see how dead wrong & foolish you are.

I don't care about grammar & spelling in that meme. The problem is the simple inability to count. It looks foolish. If I repost it, then I look foolish. And it's especially bad when the fascists we're putting down think we look foolish.

Maybe you don't care, but I don't want them to see flaws in my attacks.

Fight better.

Happy new year! 🎊🎆🎇

📰 New traffic light technology to reduce wait time at metro Detroit intersections — #MichiganPublic

#UMich researchers use #AI to analyze #Detroit traffic flows using anonymized GPS data and compute new timings to synchronize traffic lights. Then they physically load the timing data into traffic lights. They hope to be able to remotely update traffic light data in the future.

Is this a good, harmless use of AI?

Drivers may find they make it through some metro Detroit intersections a lot faster, thanks to an AI project from the University of Michigan.

On the topic of AI tools finding issues: we always thought they *could* do good. The right tool used by a skilled person is a recipe for awesome outcomes. An AI chat in the hands of someone who doesn't quite know what they ask for nor understand what the output says is not. Not to mention that the LLMs frequently just plainly lie.

A primary problem is the myths sold by "big AI" that make people believe they can do these things by themselves. That leads to slop avalanches.

New research from AWU/CWU/Techquity on AI data workers in North America. “[L]ow paid people who are not even treated as humans [are] out there making the 1 billion dollar, trillion dollar AI systems that are supposed to lead our entire society and civilization into the future,” says one.

I’ve been saying that for years.
Cool, I didn't know about this. If you want to cut out the AI garbage—oh sorry, "features," 🙄 use noai.duckduckgo.com
