It's so dumb that people use words incorrectly.

"Trolling" is used for everything which annoys the reader a little bit or more, even when the intention of the thing of annoyance was not cause such feelings. Trolling is the actual act of intentionally causing such feelings, and in addition, which is important, to enjoy that it. Trolls go into groups where people are, say things to stir up the situation and then step back to watch how groups attack each other. That's what a troll does, everyone with just a "provocative opinion" is not a troll.

I read today also an interchange between two people, where one asked for evidence repeatedly of the other persons statements. That person was called after a couple of such interchanges as sealioning, so a specific form of trolling. That means if you don't understand what trolling is, then you don't understand what sealioning is.

"Sealioning" in addition to be for annoying the shit out of you is ignorance of evidence you brought up and while doing that pursuing people for the lack of evidence under the appearance of politeness.

So someone with whom you have an argument online is likely not trolling or sealioning you.

But I guess who cares what I write, ey?
