First attempt at receiving an NOAA #satellite APT downlink. This was #NOAA15. Not sure where I went wrong. It sounded like a very strong signal for about half the pass but this certainly doesn't look like it. I recorded directly out of the radio in to a Sony voice recorder. I had all the various features disabled so the recorder shouldn't have messed with the audio at all. Anyone have any ideas?

For his entire career as a radio engineer, my Dad has not been allowed to broadcast on amateur radio frequencies.

#introductions Hello fellow radio enthusiasts!

I'm located in EL87pv. I haven't been on the radio much lately but I want to get back in to the hobby. I enjoy digital modes such as FT8, PSK31, P25 and others.

Besides radio I am also in to #scuba #electronics #it #infosec #programming and I follow a lot of #science creators on YouTube.
