This is a week of #chronicpain and an admission to myself that I am not where I was 10…or even 5…years ago. My #SpoonieLife is now receiving boxes of meds from the pharmacy and hooking myself up to a TENS machine to manage #mcas symptoms and #ehlersdanlos related pain.
Oh, and don’t forget the hours I spent yesterday making doctor appointments. Bring on that #migraine folks!
If I wanted this crazy weather, I’d go back to Chicago. C’mon California skies. Get your act together!!
I normally make fun of how Californians can’t handle weather. But this storm is serious. The #larain is unsafe. We have major flooding, a flash flood alert, cars stuck on major roads. This is a real deal storm, and people need to just stay home, heat up some tea and watch their fave storm movie. Mine? Twister. Lol.
Yes. I don’t know why it has to be one of the other. We just need to lift each other up when we’re down. How is this hard?
This attitude that #spoonies are somehow being trendy when asking for help treating our #chronicillness is infuriating.
If you don’t understand a disease like #ehlersdanlos — then refer us to someone who does. Don’t just dismiss it as a “fad.” Our pain and suffering is real & this is a highly underdiagnosed GENETIC disease.
If I hear this from my doc, the waiting room will hear they’re a quack. Complaints will be filed w/ mgmt & state med board. And I WILL call then out on social media
Madison County (VA) school board just banned these 21 books.
Ridiculous that it is 2023 and people are banning books. What is this? Fahrenheit 451??
