Today, the National Infusion Center Association (NICA), the Global Colon Cancer Association (GCCA) and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) filed a complaint in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas asserting the price setting provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act are unconstitutional.
This is a week of #chronicpain and an admission to myself that I am not where I was 10…or even 5…years ago. My #SpoonieLife is now receiving boxes of meds from the pharmacy and hooking myself up to a TENS machine to manage #mcas symptoms and #ehlersdanlos related pain.
Oh, and don’t forget the hours I spent yesterday making doctor appointments. Bring on that #migraine folks!
Okay, but…hear me out #extroverts of the world…there is a huge difference between social isolation and being introverted. As a life-long member of the #introvert club, i get physically and mentally exhausted by any social activity. I mean anything where people are present from the grocery store to a family gathering. While I agree to a point on these studies, I do think we need to consider the detrimental impact being social has on introverts & stop pushing it on us. https://tinyurl.com/Inthlt
Are we so desperate for some sort of control that we latch onto conspiracy theories now? Being left doesn’t mean we should be ignorant of truths. Same with being right wing. I know nut jobs will nut job, but I’m appalled at how mainstream the ridiculous has become—to a point where a crazy, tin-foil-hat conspiracy theorist is considered a viable political candidate. Or a criminally insane megalomaniac is considered the one to beat. Makes me want to crawl in a hole and never come out.
