@tess yup that annoys me too, I like your approach, looks like it could be the fastest. I already have to do RALT for the āƱā so it will still feel natural to me.
You can also press space after the simbol, to me itās easier as you can do with any of the thumbs instead of having to press RALT.
Alternative is to have both layouts and switch by pressing windows+space when in the coding IDE, but somehow I always end in the wrong layout š¬
