Every year I end up revisiting the fact that #Apple #Photos has absolutely crap exporting and archiving features, so this year I decided to rewrite my #macOS #export scripts in #Swift:

Yesterday my Spotify subscription expired, and instead of renewing, I finally moved on.

But downloading 500+ songs manually is hell, so I built ZipifyTunes; a simple tool that converts any playlist CSV into MP3s with album art + metadata!

Now I’m listening offline again on my iPod Nano 5th gen and loving it.
And with @peersky I can even upload the ZIP to IPFS or Hypercore and stream my songs from public gateways on my phone.

If you want to save hours of work, try it: https://github.com/akhileshthite/zipify-tunes
