Things ain’t normal.

Things ain’t going back to whatever you thought normal was.

Stop trying to find normal again.

Work the what is. Not the what was.

could have spent a full year spitballing how musk was going to kill Twitter and couldn’t have come up with anything close to the unbelievable dipshittery of “users can only read 600 tweets a day” like, what do they put in billionaire cocaine anyway
Actually, the tax returns of all Supreme Court justices should absolutely be made public. That should be a requirement to be one of the nine people with lifetime appointments who make final legal decisions for the rest of the country.

Firstly, I'd just like to say thank you to all the people who have liked, boosted and commented on my images, and to all the new followers I have. It's rather humbling. 😊

Today's shot comes from a magical day in the Scottish #Highlands, a few years ago, when I was photographing red squirrels.

These charming characters are incredibly agile and can jump great distances between trees.

Here I managed to capture one as it appears to be flying down my lens.

November never seems to have the number of Sundays in it that I expect.
Boost this toot if you're planning on sticking around Mastodon whether or not it becomes more popular than the birdsite.

Everyone, allow me to #introduce you to my hero, @PoppyNorthcutt, whose capsule has splashed down here. Poppy is literally the first lady of NASA Johnson Space Center (https://tinyurl.com/y5w4m28j). More recently, she has devoted attention and effort to 1) bodyguarding and assisting women seeking healthcare in Texas; 2) personally escorting good folks to voter registration facilities and voting sites.

Other people seek to be "thought leaders." Poppy is a _leader_ leader. She's Wonder Woman.

At age 25, Frances Northcutt was vaulted to national fame as the first woman in NASA's flight control room.

This evening, I was received into the #Episcopal church by confirmation. I’m so #thankful for my friends who have shown me a welcome in this new (to me) church community.

I get followers from all over, but the hashtag #episcopal landed in my intro for a reason.

Years ago, I helped with a couple of websites you might have heard of: RevGalBlogPals and the Episcopal Cafe. Both have evolved into other things now, and in many ways, I have too. My faith is kind of quiet. I suck at actually *going* to church, for various Sunday logistical challenges. So online faith communities help me stay connected.

#Brinner, or #Breakfast for #dinner, is sorely under appreciated.
