Yesterday I said #goodbye to the drummer in my #punk band. He'd been with us 4 years and was growing frustrated by a number of factors. I was very 😔 and it fell to me to break the news.

Its the season where i say goodbye to my tutees. It is surprising how attached you can get to people when you have never physically met them. #teaching

#loss is part of life. I feel it very keenly this morning (it's 5am). These people all bought various colours into my life and so I am #thankful However you spin it we are woven together somehow.

Know something I've learned over the past year or two? Being able to love something and not be angry about its flaws is extremely underrated.

Of course, you don't have to settle for mediocrity or compromise your morals, but not everything needs to be completely perfect to still be enjoyable.

This applies to every facet of life, from video games to current events to your daily routine.

Learn to appreciate the goodness and enjoy this beautiful life God has given us!

🥪 Prosciutto and provolone panini on sourdough as an unadvertised lunch special at work.

🍻 Old friend randomly suggested we meet up for a beer on our way home.
