IT jobs lingo decoded:
⢠âWeâre like a familyâ = no boundaries & call at midnight
⢠âFast-pacedâ = chaos everywhere
⢠âSelf-starterâ = zero support for anything
⢠âTeam playerâ = unpaid overtime & get ready to work on all holidays including weekends
⢠âCompetitive salaryâ = below industry average
⢠âNimbleâ = drop everything & work on my problem
⢠âFlexible work hoursâ = starting time is fixed but donât think of leaving early
What else?
How do people moving out for the first time learn how to clean and maintain a house in #Australia these days? Parents can't/don't teach you everything. I think I'm looking for a wikiHow except specifically house stuff, and maybe with an Australian context - I want a single volume in whatever format that explains stuff like (for example) how to clean windows, doing laundry in a cold climate, patching small holes in walls, that sort of stuff.
Any and all suggestions and boosts welcome. #AskFedi
PSA: if you have any Belkin Wemo Smart Home Devices, now is the time to reset them and set them up with HomeAssistant, Thread or Apple HomeKit!
(If you are one of the people who knows how to set up HomeAssistant (Iâm not one), thereâs going to be a lot of people needing your help!)

The latest Paper Apps⢠game is on Kickstarter. Inspired by the DOS games of my youth, it's a procedurally-generated notebook game where each copy is unique. Enjoy some pseudo-3D dungeon-crawling that fits right in your pocket!
