If there isn't something online, I'd be willing to start one - I'll pay for domain/hosting/etc to keep it running if people can suggest/contribute content.

wikiHow's license seems to be "you keep copyright on stuff you contribute, we get a license to publish it online, reproduction and redistribution isn't permitted". There ought to be a Creative Commons resource for this stuff, how to clean and maintain a house is hardly a proprietary secret.

@timixretroplays 1996 me just went to the supermarket, bought a range of cleaning products, and scrubbed everything till the rental agency said it was ok.

I suppose they pinged us for cooking vents and stuff I didn’t even know existed.

I also remember a book about "house repairs", but unfortunately I live in Denmark, and both cookbook and repair is in danish ....

There MUST be something similar for the "UK speaking" world.

For repairs it's "Goto local Bunnings, pick up a sausage, ask a staff member how to fix <thing>, go home and DIY it, stuff it up, well at least I can get more sausage". 🤣

I think there’d definitely be a lot of value in more consolidated resource with a focus on Australian climate, cleaning products, customs ect.
