Als Designer auf Linux umsteigen – Die Hardware

Wie ich im letzten Post schon erwähnt habe, bin ich ein Mac User, der es sich sehr in seinem apfelförmigen Nest bequem gemacht hat. Ich habe dennoch nicht mit der Wimper gezuckt, als es hieß, dass mein neuer Job auf einem Linux Rechner, stattfinden wird. Mal ehrlich: Wie schlimm kann es wirklich werden? Die meisten Dinge, die wir heutzutage tun, finden sowieso im Browser statt. Und meine private Hardware würde ich einfach mitnehmen. Um die soll es hier auch kurz gehen, denn ich bin der Meinung, dass ich nach jahrelangem Rumprobieren ein gutes Setup gefunden habe.

16 år gammel bærbar computer med nyt styresystem Linux Mint, der erstatter et arvestykke med Windows 7/10 der ikke er understøttet med W-update mere.

Og det virker! plus er lærerigt.

Jeg skal 'stressteste' Linux Mint inden jeg også sætter den primære computer op.
