Fairbanks, #alaska #climate trivia: today (Nov 5) is the earliest date in the season with a low temperature of -40ºF/C or lower. In 1907 the Weather Bureau cooperative station was downtown. In recent years the earliest -40º or lower was Nov 10, 1989. #akwx
