I’ve enjoyed my day off today. Other than some laundry I’ve done very little. Watched some #Netflix, done some #crochet. I’ve needed a day like today for a while. A bit of time to recharge. Doing nothing is tiring though, and I think an early night may well be on the cards.

I’ve been to the threatre tonight to see “The Psychology of Serial Killers” with Jennifer Rees. It was ace! Really interesting and I learned a lot. A bit different to my usual #theatre trips, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Not sure what that says about me. I don’t think I’ll dwell on it. 😉
This kid is so precious. I didn’t see him as usual today because of work training and I feel robbed of my time with him. His mama FaceTimed me earlier and he shouted “Grandma!” when he saw me and I got a great big smile.
Then we played a game where he poked the screen with a letter and I pretended he’d hit me on the nose and he laughed so long and so hard his dad came downstairs to see what was so funny.
I only have one cat now, but he’s really all I need. When he’s not harassing me for cuddles, this is his usual status.

His mum messaged me saying “All the times I recall telling you I didn’t want to wear one have come rushing back to me.”

When my #grandson (aka The Boy) was born, he was the image of his dad, much to my daughter’s chagrin. As he gets older, he’s starting to look more and more like her. He’s #19months now and I told her last week he’s looking more like her, and she told me that he must be because “there’s certain looks he gives me where I think he’s the spit of you!”
I’m quietly delighted. But don’t tell anyone. #StrongGenes #JDG
