I went out front this afternoon to see how the Island Buckwheat was liking the rain (very much, it seemed) and discovered a few new pink #flower heads forming. It feels a bit late in the season for blooming, but I'm sure the #bees and #birds are happy, along with any butterflies still hanging around. The leaves are pretty, resembling lavender.
