For me, the key ingredients to successful #photography are being in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment and a curious mind.

Below is one of those times where I feel the elements came together.

I revisited the scene a day later: the right hand side of the frond had dried out, while the left was on the turn.

I’d never seen anything like this. And I haven’t seen it since.

It’s one #bracken frond.
