Every day when I check the news it feels more and more as though the effect of Brexit was to separate the UK from the safety of the pack. Alone and wounded the country feels increasingly prey to the predators and hyenas. Musk is a hyena. This week’s attacks feel like a rather brutal lesson in how the world has changed. We are not the only prey but we feel especially vulnerable.

Have you tried different types of coffee? Some of the more acid ones still upset my system, but I can drink most Colombian blends all day (well, up to about 4pm because after that I would never sleep again). Cold turkey seems a bit drastic…

@fkamiah17 Oh that’s too sad 😭 Have you tried it a different way? When I switched from espresso based coffees to filter, I found I could drink it again. What kind of coffee machine do you use?

I’ve been a bit quiet on here, mainly due to trying to tame a third of an acre of wild and woolly #NorthYorkshire! In spite of our prime directive to first and foremost clear weeds and start a decent #compost system, I have managed to plant a bit ☺️

I’ve also been having a go at #SeedSaving these #HeritageVegetables, #pumpkins and #WinterSquash. #GardenOrganic’s Heritage Seed Library has been the source of some incredible veg for me over the last few years.
