The βHey, this track is currently playing!β audio meter-looking icon is static when playing over AirPlay. And it sometimes gets stuck on the first track you play, refusing to advance. The Mac Music app has a new, fun UX bug! At least it's new to me. I have not seen this before today.
Music has to be in the background. The blurred transparency that is there when Music is in the foreground loses it's blur while in the background.
