I'm here, fascinated by the words, pictures and metaphors from Barry O'Reilly.

Talking about #complexity is not simple (pun intended), but Barry has some intriguing darts to throw at it 😃

Proud to have started the Working Software Conference, to have gathered hundreds of clever minds, to continue giving my small contribution to the Italian software development community 😊

Pronti via! 🙌

Stasera sono all'Xpug Bologna con Alberto Acerbis. Alberto ci parla di Bounded Context, di quanto siano essenziali e di quanto forse... Non siano più sufficienti 😊

#XpugBO #DomainDrivenDesign #DDD

Grazie a tutti, ♥️ XPUG Bologna!

E kudos al mio compagno di avventura @arialdo 🙌

If anyone, especially the Nvidia CEO, tells you not to teach your kids maths, science, coding, art, or personal finance. Ignore him and do the opposite of what he is saying. Teach your kids the skills they need to thrive. Embrace education for all kids. By encouraging critical thinking and a love of learning, you give your kids powerful tools to shape their futures, which also helps build strong nations.

Happy to share that the written version of "Resisting Dehumanization in the Age of 'AI'"(originally my keynote at #COGSCI22) is now available through Current Directions in Psychological Science:

XKCD is brilliant. You knew that, of course. Today's is brilliant and sobering.

There is gonna be a whole category of artisanal
writing, coding and design Software that has zero AI and LLM bullshit by choice.

Can’t wait.

"A security researcher uncovered a Twitter vulnerability in its link shortener. The vulnerability allowed an attacker to craft a malicious URL that, if a user clicked on it, would grant the attacker access to the user's account. The researcher reported the vulnerability to Twitter's bug bounty program, which closed the report as not worthy of a bug bounty. So the researcher published the vulnerability. Immediately Twitter takes its link shortener offline for hours while they fix it.But the press is only reporting on an hours-long X/Twitter link shortener outage, and has completely missed the security issues that led to it.Molly White's coverage of the vulnerability (sorry for the Xitter link but that's just the problem, literally no one else is covering this): https://twitter.com/molly0xFFF/status/1734965774517768471 "

twitter not paying whitehats. what could go wrong? this one just disclosed a vulnerability that would have allowed people to gain control of the twitter accounts of users who merely clicked malicious links
