In #Microsoft #Teams, you cannot create a channel with a name of a channel that existed in the past, even if deleted previously. This not only leaks names of old channels to new users, but also ... database normalization rules ... primary keys ... seriously

If your Microsoft #Teams view is too noisy you can set it to default to only show channels that have unread messages in them. Click the "More section options" button (looks like ...) next to Teams and channels and change the filter from All to Unread only.
