It is leg day! The Patrol Unit is not going to walk itself. Procedural motion, hinge joints, weight on landing. Let's go!
Each body part is a separate mesh entity in DOTS. No skinning, no deformation. The torso has socket empties baked as entity refs at authoring time - body part entities parent to those sockets at runtime.
First pass of Player Patrol Unit in Blender. Modular character โ head, torso, arms, legs each as a separate mesh. One texture per part means swapping a limb is a texture swap, not a rig swap. Textured and ready to bake.
