More relevant than ever in the UK right now!

#hopenothate #englandriots #notofascism

There are absolutely no words to describe this crisis of inhumanity unfolding before our eyes!

I really could not bring myself to say anything about this until now.

Would there be such deafening silence if, God forbid, this was happening in Ukraine?

Where is humanity? Where is this so-called civilised world that can witness these horrendous, murderous, genocidal acts & yet say that no red lines have been crossed?

✊🏽 The killing needs to stop
✊🏽 The dehumanisation needs to stop
✊🏽 The apartheid needs to stop
✊🏽 The racism needs to stop
✊🏽 The colonialism needs to stop

It's impossible to simply observe the horrors being inflicted on fellow human beings - babies born to dead mothers, mothers bearing dead babies, children without parents, parents without children.

How much is too much?

Wouldn't it be nice if #KierStarmer & @UKLabour actually grew a backbone and stuck to his "promise" of promoting #humanrights and #peace. It was in his leadership manifesto, would you believe!!

Can you imagine if this kind of situation would ever be allowed if #Palestinians were treated like human beings by the so called "civilised" world?
They're not even getting the news inches these days!

In Gaza, there’s a war on women. Will the west really ignore it because they’re ‘not like us’?

Mothers giving birth with no medical help, babies without milk, one toilet between 500 people – but none of it evokes empathy, writes Guardian columnist Nesrine Malik

The Guardian

Read that again.

Now think if this would ever be allowed to happen if it was a western country or one of their allies?

While this savagery goes, the so-called civilised world turns a blind eye but is happy to send armies to protect commercial shipping lanes without a moment's hesitation.

What kind of a world are we living in where commercial interests rank higher than human lives?

We are being poisoned every day, so why do we keep voting for more pollution? Ask a lobbyist

The dirty industries that dominate politics deceive us into accepting dangerous pollutants such as ammonia as part of life, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Who needs experts when there's money to be made in #OilAndGas even if at the cost of our children's futures?
So what if #RenewableEnergy would be definitely cheaper, faster & far more sensible?
