Honestly… every week we're stuck in the same cycle: how are we going to get food? And how am I going to get medicine for my mother, who's blind and depends on me for everything? The situation isn't easy, and there are days when we really don't know what to do. I'm not asking for much… just that we can get through the week without fear. We expected to spend Ramadan in better circumstances than this, but the reality has been much harsher. We have lost so much, and now we live a life that, at the very least, is not fit for human beings. There is not enough food, no proper medical treatment, and no suitable environment to live in. Insects and fleas are everywhere, and each day becomes harder than the one before.
Our suffering has gone beyond what we can bear, and we have become completely dependent on donations from kind people just to provide the most basic needs of life for ourselves and our children.
