When Strasbourg 🇫🇷 opened its tram to Kehl 🇩🇪, this was big news at the time

But there are 5 other #CrossBorderRail tram lines - Basel 🇨🇭 has 4, and Geneva 🇨🇭 1 (2 more planned)

But the real 😳 is all the abandoned ones - there used to 35 other cross border tramways in Europe, the vast majority to/from 🇧🇪

What would happen?

Would it be dealt with fairly? Now I really doubt it. The reporter(s) would get blocked, and links to the story flagged.

Twitter is no longer a reliable and predictable place for news and the first take on the news.

We celebrated the first night of #Hanukkah tonight with the progressive #jewish community here in #brussels and it was super nice, we are starting to become a part of the community.

No #latkes but in true #belgian fashion, there was a #fritkot 😅 so we got our fried potatoes in #frite form 😂

My first attempt (in Europe) at baking holiday sugar #cookies has been a #fail (not totally, as we ate them and were delicious). I’m blaming this on the #butter. Always blame the butter.
