We caught Ron taking a breather from moving bikes to our Mills Close workshop, where a team of volunteers teaches secondary students how to fix and build bikes from scratch.

"Volunteering's great," he told us.

"It gets me out of the house to make a contribution and be with good people. Honestly, I think I get more out of it
