As of 8/31/2023, the New York State Department of Health has joined the CDC in halting the publication of #COVID statistics.

I held out for the month of September, hoping they would resume, but at this point it feels like a lost cause.

I am kind of shocked how easy it is to pipe your mastodon feed to html to include on another webpage, but I guess I shouldn't be - that's how the open web is supposed to work, it's just the vampires of for-profit platforms that don't want it to be easy
