Hey.Café (https://hey.cafe/r/dhemery) just announced that they've passed 25,000 accounts. If you've always wanted to get in on the ground floor of social media site that may go nowhere, here's your chance.
I have no idea why I'm somewhat sorta semi-evangelizing this, but there you are. Maybe I'd just like to see a social media site that feels like the good old days.

I found a board game cafe and a science cafe. Very low traffic so far. Early days, I guess.
I can’t start a cafe (say, a Bitwig cafe) without going pro. It’s inexpensive (~$US30/yr), but I’ll wait to see who or what shows up first.

For some reason the Kindle version of Silman’s Complete Endgame Course is not available in my country. I don’t know why. And there’s no Apple Books listing for it.
I wrote to Jeremy Silman about it a few years ago, but he never replied. I suspect he was well into the disease that he later died from.
Both of those features probably would benefit from using SIMD techniques. Alas, my modules are designed on the assumption that they accept only one signal per input port. And I’m not sure how much performance would suffer if I handled aliasing via oversampling and filtering.
I think either feature would require significant redesign. In C++11. Bleah.
There are a few cross-cutting features that I think people would like. First is support for multi-channel signals. In fact I got a request for that recently.
The other is anti-aliasing. Because I have no DSP skill, and have tried and failed several times to understand the math behind DSP, all of my modules have focused solely on control signals, not audio signals. But I think some of my modules would be interesting at audio rate… if they did not suffer from aliasing.
