Few things as satisfying as walking on crunchy ice during a melt

Day 2 of trying Hey.Café:
I joined a Birders cafe, a Book Lovers café, resisted the Crochet café but did join a Knitting café, and one dedicated to hiking. I joined several cafés dedicated to various Canadian provinces, and I created one for bikes and bikeology. I've seen amazing birding photos, some lovely knitting, learned about Canadian authors I'd never heard of. I created a profile, loaded pictures, and set up tags. All in one day. It was a snap!
I've even had the quintessential Canadian experience: "you're from Winnipeg? Do you know my friend ___? You do?! Say hi for me!" 💕
*It's days like this that make you love being Canadian*.

Hey.Café is still wicked small (https://stats.hey.cafe), but I'm starting to see some of my friends show up.
UK Rugby is changing pretty dramatically.
Hey.cafe is Canadian based and looks interesting.
NO ADS!!
NO DATA COLLECTING!!
NO ALGORITHM!!
It's like FB but without the algorithm bullshit and a 'group' are called a 'cafe' instead.
Will take sometime to get use to but seems promising.
So far no android app but works well through browser.

I struggle with trying to find a way to get users to join. I am not a marketing person at all. I did update the splash website to say we are Canadian but not sure what to do overall.
Added a section to the rules called Basic Standards, it's more about how users present themselves over the content posted like the rules listing what you cannot do.
