"Yes, hello is that the car dealership? I like high-end German vehicles but I also really appreciate the aesthetics of the music video for "Take On Me" by the Norwegian synth-pop sensation 'a-ha'. Is there anything you could recommend?" <pic related>
I eventually discovered that this is purportedly by a known local Hollandophile.
@rowan_m Cheers. I think you've provided all that I needed. i.e. the shape of my legs will continue to be obvious to everyone within visual range.
@benofbrown I read several articles on this and not one mentioned who was actually responsible. It's a fucking hard life being a designer sometimes. I wish I'd seen this, so I could have gone and asked them face to face: https://www.southyorkshire-ca.gov.uk/news/article/south-yorkshire-peoples-network
Mayor reveals new South Yorkshire People’s Network brand for the region’s public transport - South Yorkshire MCA

South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority works together to unlock the potential of our people, businesses & places. SYMCA ensuring they prosper through shared purpose to create stronger, greener, fairer South Yorkshire.

South Yorkshire MCA
@mgleadow Don't even joke. Do we really want another one of these on our hands?
@dominikhofer Yeah, cute. But I don't see how this will help sustain my crippling anxiety so no thanks lads x
Digging the look of the new buses for #Sheffield / #SouthYorkshire - yes “People’s Network” is a bit 'Continuity Corbyn' & yes it's 🇳🇱 Dutch AF (we've done this before, *cough* Tramlines branding) - nothing wrong with that.
Who knows, it might hint at better cyclist vibes? #YorkshireYorkshireYorkshire 🚌 #SYMCA

@rowan_m Two points:
1. I personally really appreciate these sort of post. I'm not going to just adopt everything, but the insight is really useful.
2. Do you reckon I could pull off those ultra-wide jeans? I'm really feeling them.
@jimmac I like the aesthetics of #4, but I can't get past the risk of people trying to swipe my chest.
@benofbrown This is interesting (well… I find it interesting). I walked past one doing this the other side of town. So:
1. Are these getting vandalised in a specific way?
2. Is this a 'clever' advertising campaign?
3. Is some sort of centralised control of these under attack?
