Fancy trying speaking in the Yorkshire region?
Upset by end (pause?) of #HeyPresents wonderful string of conferences?

Come chat to @devolute or @katiefenn at the after-party if you fancy speaking at #FrontEndSheff in Sheffield to our lovely welcoming community #AllDayHey

The bridge between play & interrogation of shared goals is beautifully illustrated by @philhawksworth as well as a call to embrace abstractions - whether AI or SCSS (seriously!) - in an *opinionated* manner.

♥️ Much needed attitude imho (👍 also #11ty count++ / slop count++) #AllDayHey

"Every time we fire [the #AI -powered 'slopgun'], we decrease the tickets but increase the workload" - actual satire at a web dev conference. And interactive. Amazing from @cassiecodes at #AllDayHey
"Standard GitHub experience". Absolute savagery from @jaffathecake at #AllDayHey
This #AllDayHey talk is beautiful (visually and aurally) and is making me feel very much like an <pic related>
I've been excited about View Transition API, but hadn't considered the possibilities of things like grid animations and transitions on scroll. A wonderful start to #AllDayHey from @bramus and https://chrome.dev/view-transitions-toolkit/ is a godsend. #WebDesign is fun again & polish matters! #CSS #AllDayHey

When I get a million pounds sterling from my labours, I will buy this canal barge and then announce "I'm on the spectrum" at every alehouse I happen to visit on my tour of British waterways.

Everyone will clap.

Oh good lord… #Sheffield braces itself once again for the key event in our cultural calendar.
#BBCLauraK had the opportunity to really challenge @ZackPolanski on migration, defence, economics & pick at weaknesses ahead of local elections, but instead decided to spend the majority of the time focused on whether he - a jewish man - was cool with anti-semitism. Amateurish and an embarrassing waste of everyones time.

@devolute They've been suffering from a DDoS attack, IIRC.

GitHub has been suffering from LLMitis, which is when you code massive amounts of slop code via LLM that you then ship directly into prod without either reviewing or testing said code.

One has an external source and is not the fault of the company suffering from it. The other is very much caused by internal reasons, in a "foisted by your own petard" kind of way.
