I am broken, still. Like the fractured wings of these angels on my windowsill. Dusty webs and dead horse flies. They never needed any alibis. It's hard to feel pain for that which never cries. For all this existence, time was the compromise. I cant's seem to push against my will. These wounds are deep. I am broken, still.

"We came into this life from nothing. We will leave this life and return to nothing."

What they fail to mention:
"There is no such thing as nothing."

A non material mind and non material thoughts, came up with the idea that only material objects exist. This non material mind effectively reasoned itself into a state of non existence, and then from a self imposed non existence, continued to determine what exists and doesn't exist.

This is foundation that materialism is built on. Non existence determines what exists. This is a paradox if nothing exists. Or more simply put, there is no such thing as nothing.

Who is the "I" that is aware of the "I" that suffers?
Who is asking the questions?
And Lastly, So what!?
