Affectionately known as the ‘graffiti grannies of Lisbon', Lata65 is a Portuguese organisation that runs workshops in street art for the over-65s. The oldest participant is 90-year-old Isaura Santos Costa #WomensArt 🇵🇹

“Cynthia, do we have to do this here with everybody watching? It's embarrassing.”

“I don't know, Henry, did you have to flirt with the waitress while everybody was watching? That was pretty embarrassing too."

Whenever I poke my head outside of the Fediverse, I immediately retreat back into my little shell because the rest of the Internet looks like this:

Why I voted for Trump (and will do it again in 2028)

I lost 50 pounds in one month by only eating those sponge dinosaurs that come in tiny capsules

20 child stars who grew up to be way less sexy than we'd hoped

In a single year, China added more solar power capacity than the US has installed to date and electric vehicles are poised to outsell conventional automobiles. American media called it "dystopian."

At a bar and need help? Order an "Angel shot".

-"with lime" means call the police.

- "on the rocks" means you need a taxi called.

- "neat" means you need an escort to your car.

You can also ask for Angela, as in "is Angela working tonight?"

Attached: 1 video i did not know about the hand signal for help me, and my stupid ass thought she was flirting. The Signal for Help (or the Violence at Home Signal for Help) is a single-handed gesture that can be used over a video call or in person by an individual to alert others that they feel threatened and need help.[1] Originally, the signal was created as a tool to combat the rise in domestic violence cases around the world linked to self-isolation measures that were related to the COVID-19 pandemic.[2] The signal is performed by holding one hand up with the thumb tucked into the palm, then folding the four other fingers down, symbolically trapping the thumb by the rest of the fingers.[3] It was designed intentionally as a single continuous hand movement, rather than a sign held in one position, so it could be made easily visible. The Signal for Help was created by the Canadian Women's Foundation and introduced on April 14, 2020.[4] It soon spread via the TikTok social video platform and was adopted by the international Women's Funding Network (WFN). It received widespread praise from Canadian[5] and international[6][7] news organizations for helping provide a modern solution to the issue of a rise in domestic violence cases. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signal_for_Help

Just sharing something I learned a bit ago

I think everybody knows the “Bliss” wallpaper from Windows XP.

The original photo was taken by Charles O’Rear on medium format color reversal (slide) film, specifically Fujifilm Velvia 50. He shot it on a Mamiya RZ67.

The first image is the original. The second is the version that shipped with Windows XP.

Why is this 2020 article getting so little attention? There IS a “there there” and it paints an accurate portrait of #epstein and #Maxwell not as aberrations but as archetypical of the soulless world they inhabited and others still do. #motherjones

I called everyone in Jeffrey Epstein's little black book.

What I learned about rich people, conspiracy, Ghislaine, stand-up comedy, and evil from 2,000 phone calls.

Look at this absolute unit!
Sometimes I fill the kettle a bit past the "Max" line. It's not actually illegal, but at my age it's the closest I'm likely to get to a life of crime.

Correction: I got it wrong. Sister said Panther, not Jaguar.
