Формы в Angular: от Reactive Forms к Signal Forms

Found what appears to be a good, free and open licensed book on Kalman filters (actually Bayesian filters in general). I say "appears to be" because it's one of the longest creative-commons-licensed textbooks I've ever seen: The PDF is 506 pages. (And it was written in 2020, so it's all human authorship.) It's a tome. #electronics #sensors #signals

Signals, the push-pull based algorithm — Willy Brauner

We have been using Signals in production for years via several modern front-end frameworks like Solid, Vue, and others, but few of us are able to explain how they work internally. I wanted to dig into it, especially diving deep into the push-pull based algorithm, the core mechanism behind their reactivity.

A Mysterious Signal Began Transmitting as the Iran War Erupted—Now Someone is Jamming It

In the early hours of the U.S.-Israel war with Iran, a mysterious shortwave radio signal began broadcasting from an unknown location.

The broadcasts feature a man speaking mostly in Persian, although with the occasional inclusion of English language words, as a series of random numbers are conveyed, followed by the word tavajjoh, meaning “attention,” spoken three times before each transmission ends.

An artifact of the Cold War, the short radio dispatches that began just twelve hours after the onset of the conflict in Iran represent what radio experts refer to as a numbers station—a form of shortwave radio transmissions that broadcast random number sequences with the likely purpose of conveying information to intelligence officers in foreign nations.

In our search for alien life, stars might be muddying their signals
Humans have wondered for centuries whether we are alone in the universe — and a new study suggests that if alien civilizations have been trying to communicate with us, we mostly haven’t been listening for the right signals.

SIGTERM vs SIGKILL

🟡 SIGTERM (15) – Graceful termination
• Process can cleanup before exit
• Can be handled/blocked
• kill <PID>

🔴 SIGKILL (9) – Forceful kill
• No cleanup, immediate termination
• Cannot be caught or ignored
• kill -9 <PID>

Always try SIGTERM first. SIGKILL is last resort!
