My wife spotted it as we were driving home and it was there from about 8km away from home right up to the point when we got home. It seemed to have an L shape turned 90° clockwise, but my phone is too poo to pick that up.
It was a lot more intriguing to our untrained eyes than the following white blobs...

Just got all the stuff for my spot welder onto one of the benches and the four different guides that go with it (gulp).
This looks tougher than I expected. I guess I'll just need to start at the beginning and work my way through.
I'm currently waiting for a reply from the supplier because there are two versions of the ultra-capacitor guide and they're all for older versions, so I'll need to check if the latest is still applicable (which gives me more time to read the manuals/prevaricate).
