I ended up putting together a bunch of history of how an optional video card for the PS/2 pushed the PC graphics hardware industry together and briefly became a pseudo standard that raised the bar for what a video card could be. In a way, it was the first successful GPU for PCs.
Another low for #Microsoft: Software that you've paid a one-time fee for will soon just outright lose the ability to create, edit or save documents.
Sure, not *supporting* old software after a certain point is reasonable. But stripping software of its core functionality under the premise of an expired certificate is straight-up foul play, if you ask me.
