So in local #ev news the new chargers at my local fuel station have gone live 7x ccs and chademo units at 150kw a welcome addition as the next nearest unit is usually being camped on by a DPD delivery van

@spytfyre I have been called the guy with the hair before but to be fair I had a massive Afro at the time. Your right though my ex neighbour #mentalhealth suffered over Covid and he got into #conspiracies. At one he tried to make me stand by my car with a fire extinguisher when I was charging it “for when the battery exploded and kills us all”. Maybe He was looking for some verbal sparring today

So I just rode to the shop for hot cross buns and because it’s sunny & I ran into an ex Neighbor:
Him: car trouble? Told you them electric cars were useless!
Me: hi uh no the cars fine.
Him: So why’d you ride here? you can’t carry bags on you handlebars you know
Me: it’s quicker & I don’t need a 2 ton car to buy some hot cross buns. They’ll go in my panniers
Him: oh your one of them ‘cyclists’.
I awkwardly left at this point seriously some folk just default to driving #biketoot #biketooter

So yeah I went into #hibernation over winter but things are warming up the days are getting longer and I’m horribly out of condition so it must be time to get on my #bicycle again. I had a small path finding ride today to see if my bike and apart from a few squeaks (which could be the bike or me) everything seems to be in place. I want to try a couple of longer rides this year and I’m thinking that’s going to have to start with more time in the #saddle
