Hiya! I'm an over-the-road #trucker, originally from the #Midwest. I'm gay as fuck, (still) single as fuck. When I'm not criss-crossing the country, I like to explore #technology (I'm a #Mac, but also #Ubuntu,) eat lots of comfort food, take in a #baseball or #hockey game, and other random things including visiting #Canada often. Whenever I find myself wandering around Portland, I make it a point to stop and play with the @panic sign at night. However, they recently relocated to a new office… I eagerly anticipate playing with the sign when it’s up on the new building! https://sign.panic.com #portland #pdx
Panic Sign
Founded in Portland in 1997, it took Panic 15 years to get a sign. We wanted it to be Portland’s sign, too. Since then, we've heard from so many people who changed our sign colors as part of their visit to Portland. Thank you—it brightens our day. In the Summer of 2024, we moved to a new office, exactly two blocks south. Don’t worry—we’ll build a new Panic Sign for the new office, and we’ll make some noise when it’s back. It's been years since I rolled my own Wordpress install... and what a clusterfuck it's become, trying to manage file permissions and apache rewrite and the damn heartbeat api FLOODING my server logs. And the error messages and documentation are entirely unhelpful. I figured it would be the easiest way to roll my own single user Mastodon instance...
