Such a proud moment to hear your toddler exclaim “no, it’s my body. No one can touch my body if I say no”
Frustratingly, it’s to my husband trying to clean marmite off her face, but it’s still a win.
Look, I just…give it to…no, like. Never mind I’ll just eat this. No Ben doesn’t want any I’m sure. I’ll eat his bit. K. Thanks.
And the scoop too, please, if you wouldn’t mind?
In today’s completely nonsensical world, today our 9 year old said glumly over breakfast “The teachers have said we’ve got to do extra work today, because we didn’t do any learning yesterday”
I asked what he meant. “Well, yesterday was obviously world book day, so we just spent the day reading, so today we have to catch up on the learning we would have done”
Just….what? #school #education
It’s probably something gross like the smell of burning dust (which in turn is obviously gross dead skin flakes etc) but I’m going to say it anyway:
I love the smell of the central heating going on for the first time.
