Code4Lib 2024 last week was *amazing*. I was really happy with how my talk on Batch Editing went (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0fG0j949GM&list=PLw-ls5JXzeNYT9Y3JZGjl7EFy7vOeXpk-&index=2&t=2222s). I mostly read Mastodon in #weechat via #bitlbee with bitlbee-mastodon (IRC truly has a gravitational pull for me). TIL about `/buffer set short_name X`. It's so nice! I love how much cleaner it makes the merged buffer where my timelines live.

I'm interested in #FreeSoftware and #CreativeCommons licensing. I love minimalist computing - my desktop is #xmonad and a ton of xterms running #TUI programs like #mutt, #weechat, #vim, and #emacs. I'm also a former forest #ecologist. In my dissertation I used the CANOPY model to study patterns of biomass development in northern Wisconsin.
