apt install csvkit (on Debian-based distros)
`cut` failed on me on a CSV with quotes, so I now use `csvcut`. Awesome!
TIL that the operator of archive.today and its mirrors archive.ph/archive.is was caught harassing victims with targeted DDoS attacks and deployed malicious code on the web site.

We should probably stop using this service, which is most popular for archiving and looking up paywalled articles. But what alternatives are there, besides archive.org (which is an important service for the Internet but lacks a good UX for quickly archiving things)?
Note to self:
Check out Flashpoint, people mentioned it as the "internet archive but for flash games", and it looks interesting but I have no idea if it is legal here or not (yet).

Ich werde zur #EH23 meinen mini-PC zum Retten und Archivieren von Optischen Medien (mit LibreDrive) mitbringen. Habs soeben auch auf die Dating Seite geschrieben. Also falls jemand Interesse hat, einfach mit Medien vorbei kommen :)
Wäre jedoch gut, wenn jemand noch einen guten Flachbettscanner mitbringen könnte um die Bilder auf den Disks, sowie die Microcodes auf der Unterseite, etc. mit Digitalisieren zu können.
I’ve recently discovered Open Archiver in a (German) YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXd2X7Ln_Vk), which allows you to archive your emails from various different email providers. It seems to be still a very new project, but it looks promising to me. And it’s completely open source.

Notesnook has a web clipper browser extension. I use it to clip all kinds of articles and save them. It's open source, and self hostable.
I use the FreeTube client to download videos from YouTube.
