A while back my boss said something to me that I thought made a lot of sense. He mentioned that he was an introvert. And i was like what? How could YOU of all people be an introvert. You’re so outgoing and love to host parties and entertain. Always busy doing this social or that social activity.
And he says something to the effect that being an introvert doesn’t mean you’re a hermit. It’s more of about whether you become energized from social activities, or drained from them. And I thought. Damn. That sounds like me too. I enjoy being social and all that, but it’s exhausting. And I can only take so much it seems.
So yeah, you’re probably correct.
