For the last year I have been working on a Minecraft city called Savalay, which I was passed down from a comrade on a worldbuilding/nation RP server. In that time I've doubled the size and scope of the city and drastically expanded it's economy. While it's never complete, sometimes I'll simply be walking around and see a view like this and just be absolutely floored. It never fails to amaze me how far we've come and how pretty it's become. Yesterday I found this open source program called Materialize that allows you to create different texture maps and plugged in a couple textures, one of which I made in Clip Studio from scratch and one of which I generated from texturelab.xyz
I wanted to post this because I ended up with these as the result. I was really impressed at how well it works, especially for a free program! #textures #GameDev #GameArt
