Music, cycling, alcohol and Manchester City FC. These things keep me sane.

I will also happily discuss at great length Iain Banks' Culture books.

At the end of the day, COVID-19 made people realize:

- They could work from home and that most offices are shitty places.

- Their job was really shitty.

- Governments could finance pretty much anything they wanted.

- Global warming could be stopped.

- The really important jobs were the ones that are the worst paid (nurses, for instance).

- Most governments are run by idiots, who are in the pocket of the wealthiest.

The daughter of a friend was knocked down in a road in the city centre last week. She required an ambulance and trip to A&E after quite a nasty smash (nobody's fault). Thankfully she's recovering now, and was lucky that she was hit by a car doing 20mph in a 20mph zone. I dread to think what might have happened otherwise.

But no Sunak, weaponise the 20mph speed limit because you're desperate to appease to the worst people in our society for a few votes.

Imagine mass deportations happening today...
